1996 – Latur APPI Trauma Centre managed by Swami Vivekanand Charitable Trust

Following the sustained recovery work after the 1993 Latur earthquake, Saving Lives supported the establishment of a dedicated trauma unit in Latur, managed by the Swami Vivekanand Charitable Trust. The centre provided essential trauma and emergency care to a rural population that previously had to travel long distances for acute treatment.
