Following the December 2004 Asian Tsunami, Saving Lives supported the establishment of an infant care centre in Sri Lanka for families displaced by the disaster.
The centre provided care for infants and young children whose homes and local health services had been destroyed, and formed part of the wider post-tsunami recovery programme delivered with local partners.
